CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s a mixed bag this weekend, with cooler temperatures but a chance of showers every day.

Highs will drop to the mid-80s Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The strongest chance of storms will be Friday, mainly ending around 3 p.m., and Sunday through the afternoon.

West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north northeast in the evening.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east southeast in the evening.

Sunday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
